Seohui Chi is a Korean artist based in Los Angeles.

Chi’s pieces are recognizable by her signature soft and delicate palette. Chi incorporates many thin layers of paint on Hanji — a traditional Korean mulberry paper — over days at a time to provide unique depth and texture in her work. The intentional use of Western mediums on Hanji symbolizes Chi’s desire to both preserve the traditional roots of her Korean heritage while presently painting in California.
